My undergraduate research experiences have been hands-down the most formative part of my time at UW. I've discovered that I love the research process and intend to pursue a Ph.D. in the biosciences after undergrad. Since research has been such an impactful experience for me, I've also gotten involved in outreach efforts with the Undergraduate Research Program as an Undergraduate Research Leader (URL) to increase undergraduate involvement with UW's amazing research community. I've also been fortunate to be supported in my work as a Mary Gates Scholar, Washington Research Foundation Fellow, Goldwater Scholar, and most recently as a Churchill Scholar. As I've been involved in research since my freshman year, I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing people on some some cool projects that I'd like to highlight here, but which you can also read about in this article about me:
